Different influences to play bass

Since I started to play the bass, I heard many bass players to get influenced in different styles of music.

That really helped me although I have copied their techniques It's going to be different It would sounds like me.

Many musicians have a lot of influences but what they play sounds like them. Every musician have different way of playing so that is special. It is important to play with feeling, grove, happiness,joy,etc etc

Slap Bass Technique: I learned listening to  Larry Graham, Victor Wooten, Marcus Miller, Mark king, Bill Dickens, Tetsuo Sakurai., Less claypool, Stuart Hamm,Gianni Serino,Yoshihiro Naruse, etc.

Funk Bass:  Francis Rocco Prestia, Jaco Pastorius and some bass players of slap bass technique.

Jazz , Jazz fusion:  Stanley Clarke, John Patitucci, Nathan East, Abraham Laboriel, Gary Willis, Richard Bona, Gerald Veasley, Ric Fierabracci, etc.

Rock and Roll, Progresive Rock, Hard Rock, Heavy Metal, etc etc :   Paul mcCartney, Geddy Lee, Billy Sheehan,Felipe Andreoli, John Myung, Steve Harris, Cliff  Burtom, Michael Lepond, Masaki.

Other Styles: Hussain Jiffry, Oscar de leon, Emanuel Espinoza, Steve Bailey, Oteil Burbridge.
